sooooo many hard to narrow it down...Has anybody ever thought of writing to the worst of those dr's just to say, "BTW, I am sure you don't remember me, but this is what I came in with, this is what you said, and here is the serious pathology I actually had...now please don't do it again" (??) I have fantasized about it but so far have found better uses of my time.
I think this is the guy I remember the most, from way back in my uninsured days: Since I have spinal pathology which causes whole body neuropathies I actually started with neuropathic itch in my fingers and toes, and thought it was nail fungus. So i went to get checked out for that and the Dr. looks at me for a tenth of a second and says, "psychosomatic due to stress". I said, "But I am not stressed. I am a very happy and laid back person". So he says, real combative-like, "well, what do you do for a living?" - Waiting for the "stressful profession"...and I said, "I'm not even working, I stay home with my kids", so he says, "Well, that can be VERY stressful". $100 cash, please, bye bye
