Support group

Hi, having recently become a member I have been looking to see if there are any local support groups in and around the London area, and it would appear not. Is this something we might consider or do the relatively low numbers of sufferers in the UK make it not worthwhile? I'll tell you what got me thinking along these lines. I had a pm from a member saying she is going to see Dr. Branowski in London next week and she is travelling on her own from Scotland. I live about an hour's travelling time from London and am quite willing (my wife also) to help anyone travelling a long distance to London for treatment by offering a bit of advice, moral support or indeed an overnight stay if needed. London is a big strange place, and can be quite intimidating, and having visited Prof. Carlstedt there last week, I was so glad that I didn't have to travel an enormous distance. Anyway, food for thought perhaps, and the offer is there for anyone coming to London if I can help in any way.

Hi John,
I live in the US, but I just wanted to tell you how thoughtful and generous your offer is! :P
I hope you are able to find a support group in your area. It's a pleasure to have you as a member of our "online" support group!
Warm regards,
Karyn
