Hi everyone,
I have read some testimonials from PNEers post surgery who have had success with this system.I doubt these people are still on the forum.
I would be very very very nervous to try one of these, but if anyone has anymore info I would be very interested in hearing about it.

The bike seats look very comfy but are not enough to tempt me back onto a bike just yet. They look like good prophylactic devices but not for those of us who already have PN.

I know one of the people who have offered a testimonial for this kind of bike seat...however the benefits are not always as stated.....my personal opinion is that any form of cycling with a traditional seat is not a good idea with aperson who has a history of PN. The only person i know who can cycle with no adverse results uses a recumbant bike taking all pressure off the PN regions.

If some miracle happened and I got 100 percent better, I think I should have my head evaluated if I ever got on a bicycle again, even though that was my passion for many years

I could not open the link but in any case I agree with Ray P, there is no way on earth I am going back on a bicycle. There are so many other activities you can do that do not involve irritating the pudendal nerve again.

My PT has me doing swimming. I never could swim right. I did not like swimming in community pools for obvious reasons. I am not swimming that many laps, but it is great exercise. Feels good to get some exercise. Have not done much exercise in years. I will do swimming even if PT says I don't have to. It is not bicycle riding, but you have to go with the flow.

Hi Ray, I also dream of one day riding a bike again because I also love to go bike riding. I also dream of one day being able to drive more than I can now. As for now, though, it would make my PNE worse. Above all though, there are still so many things that we can do that do not aggravate our PNE or PN and so many things that I am thankful to have such as relatively good health and my family, which helps me to not dwell on those other things I can't do. I think about the things I can do, and what I do have now and I feel lucky. Its such a nice day today and the weather is beautiful here in North Carolina. Thankful for that also. I'm going to start trying to help others more. I noticed that when you help others, that your own problems seem to not be as important. Good to talk to another man who has this problem, because I know that we are in the minority of PNE sufferers. God Bless and take care.

I have heard the Body Geometry by Specialized is very good because they measure the width between your ischial tuberosities and there are different sizes depending on your width. There is a cut out in the middle.

I know someone who just biked across the US using one of these saddles and had no problems at all but they were not a PN patient so I can't really say how well it works for PNE'ers.
