Is it normal for a surgeon to retract the obturator internus to deroof the rest of the alcocks canal? My butt feels super lumpy and my pelvic floor spasms non stop all the time. It almost feels like I cant feel the outline of the piriformis muscle. Has anyone else gone through this? It's just non stop spasms. In fact it's been spasming so much that I have constipation now. Dr Conway said I have post surgery tension from surgery but it's been 3 months since surgery. I'm worried that he tried something new on me.

Nobody knows if it surgeons are supposed to dissect or retract the obturator internus to get to the alcocks canal?
The reason I'm asking this is because on the 3rd week after decompression surgery all my genitals sensation came back to my penis but after twisting my foot far right and far left my genitals went numb again. And it's been numb since oct 28th I had my surgery oct 10th. Did I compress my pudendal nerve with my obturator internus?
