Constipation after decompression surgery
So I had bilateral decompression surgery on Oct 10 2019. Its been 6 weeks and I'm still having extreme constipation. I take miralax daily so the stool is definitely soft. Some times nothing comes out. Every morning when I wake up my abdomen hurts then I rush to the toilet and for some reason my abdomen pain always hits me AFTER I poop. I dont get it. It eventually fades. I can pass gas. I know I have an extremely tight pelvic floor. My alcocks canal was deroofed. My pain is pretty low, but I do get alot of muscle spasms especially in the obterator internus and external anal sphincter. Has anyone constipation lasted this long after surgery?

How are you doing now?
I love your monitor - they're my pleading words. Magnesium citrate is what I take.
