Is spinal cord stimulator surgery painful?
Is spinal cord stimulator surgery painful?
Stimulation does not work for everyone. If unsuccessful, the implant can be removed and does not damage the spinal cord or nerves. Some SCS devices use a low-frequency current to replace the pain sensation with a mild tingling feeling called paresthesia. ... As a result, the amount of pain relief varies for each person.

Hi Jones. I noticed you made a bunch of posts on the subject of SCS. Do you have experience with it yourself?

PNE since 2002. Started from weightlifting. PNE surgery from Dr. Bautrant, Oct 2004. Pain now is usually a 0 and I can sit for hours on certain chairs. No longer take medication for PNE. Can work full time and do "The Firm" exercise program. 99% cured from PGAD. PNE surgery was right for me but it might not be for you. Do your research.
