Health Organization for Pudendal Education

This is just an interim report following 9 treatments.
My name is NIck and we live near to Chester in Cheshire.
In Sept 2017 I began to suffer with severe rectal pain, which following several unnecessary procedures left me in even more pain than I had begun with. Eventually the surgeon suggested that my condition could be pudendal neuralgia.
I then had nerve blocking injections and pulsed radio frequency neuromodulation in London by the leading UK expert, but with only limited success. I was still in terrible pain. This pain for those who also have my condition is utterly relentless.
The only limited escape is bed, but this only limits the pain and it soon returns once you get up.
Sometimes you are in a dark place without hope?
My wife found the Sayer Clinic on this website and we made an appointment to see Dr MIke Durtnall.
It was argueably the best decision I have ever made, within 25 minutes of my first consultation MIke had diagnosed my problem, it’s source and how he could cure me. He took two x-rays immediately to demonstrate the theory.
I have to say that after more than a year of this debilitating illness I could hardly dare believe that I could feel human again. I travel from Chester once a week and have treatment with MIke for 15 minutes and with Karolina for 1 hour.
Karolina does my phisiotherapy for which she is very skilled and dedicated.
So nine treatments and my improvement is remarkable. No longer in pain. The soreness had reduced significantly. The skin sensitivity has almost disappeared. I can walk without discomfort, essentially I have my like back.
I know that I will improve further and am beginning to believe that I will be cured.
I have nothing personal to gain from this interim post, and I will update it periodically, but if like me you thought that this is you for the rest of your life and no one can help, please think again. You really do not need to suffer forever, this man really can cure you. He and Karolina are curing me.

Fantastic news Nicky ! So pleased you have found a solution. Could I ask you how much mr Durtnall charges for his treatments & what treatment he performs . Also why are x rays so important? So many of us have spent a great deal of money on a variety of practitioners in search of pain relief so I’m interested his technique s as opposed to other chiropractor/ osteopaths . Many thanks & continued healing

I am Nick, bit confusing as it is my wife who logged on initially to this website.
MIke is different to any other practitioner for several reasons,
First he is a doctor, secondly he specialised for years in coccyx issues and thirdly he then studied pudendal neuralgia
He employs highly trained physiotherapists who have studied and fully understand the complex role our muscles play with regard to these isssues. They explain to you in detail what they are doing and just as importantly what you can do to help yourself, what I needed to know and perhaps you do to is the do’s and the dont’s. They show you exercises to help you improve and assist your own recovery. Suddenly there is no mystery just an understanding of the basic mechanics of your body, what your issue is and how to fix it, you begin to realise that it isn’t rocket science, just people who know exactly what they are doing and explaining it to us in simple understandable terms.
The xrays were important as they show the mechanics clearly, in my case my back. No one had been able to tell me how my problem began. The xrays showed my right leg was 3.86 mm shorther than my right one; that the bottom of my pelvis was 7 mm out looking left to right and the top of my pelvis was 11mm out. This was impacting on my spine which tilted right and then over to the left to compensate. It also showed bandage to my coccyx. Mike works on sorting my back and coccyx out and Karolina does the physio.
Cost, well it ain’t cheap, but how much would you give right now if someone said “ I’ll make you better”

The initial consultation is an hour for I think £250
Mike costs £380 per hour, but I see him for 15 mins which is plenty so that is £95.
Karolina is £90 per hour
The xrays were £40 each, I had two.
I meet people from all over when I go, they literally travel from far and wide, I met a lady who travels from Shrewsbury every two weeks in an 12 hour round trip, you know what she said to me? It’s worth it isn’t it?

I wanted to add after reading all the review on this site I also decided to try Sayer clinic in August this year and after 6 session with Karolina I was as good as new, sadly though I couldn't afford to go in the past 2 months and since I reduced some of my meds I now have the issues back with new symptoms like paresthesia at night and spasms (have no clue what this is)
But yes, I saw Karolina as well and she was fab !!! It was a joy to go and I always looked forward to seeing her. Absolutely amazing! The symptoms were: vulval pain, right buttock pain with severe allodynia, pudendal symptoms and dyspareunia.
