Link to poor digestion?

Hi,
I've been on this forum before but haven't posted in a while. I first started having PN symptoms February of last year, but I felt I had gotten them to a pretty manageable level so much that I could live my life mostly freely and without pain. However, a few weeks ago it seems like completely out of nowhere I had a flareup that has left me in burning pain ever since.
Being the overthinker that I am, I try to analyze every single thing that I do to see if there is a link to when pain is better or worse. I can't help but notice there seems to be a weird link to my digestion. It seems like pain in the penis and entire pelvic area somehow often gets better after I eat a meal. This is also true when I go to the bathroom or pass gas, which I'm sure has to do with the expansion of the intestines which pushes on the nerves in that area.
I've had poor digestion for most of my life, but things didn't start getting mysterious until a few years when I developed a weird condition that no one can figure out that causes a sort of chest pressure when I haven't eaten, and a particularly gurgly stomach all the time. It's like I can feel gas rise, get trapped in my chest, then fizz away. This is only remedied by eating something, until it happens again a few hours later.
I can't help but wonder if my PN symptoms are somehow linked to digestion or perhaps exacerbated by my chronic stomach/intestinal issues. I was wondering if anyone on here has noticed any similar correlations. Thanks!
