New suggestions for a hard seat cushion
New suggestions for a hard seat cushion
Looking for a cushion that is hard and supportive with larger than normal round tailbone cutout that will not smush down when sitting. Please send me suggestions
Re: New suggestions for a hard seat cushion
I know this is not a hard cushion but it is really help me.
I use a Boppy Pillow. I buy the more expensive one since it has more filling and much thicker.
I use it with the opening to the back. It's very adjustable since it's a pillow. I use it to drive and sometimes even to sit to eat for short periods of time.
When it flattens out it can be machine washed and dried and it fluffs back up.

Pain began 2007, surgery 2008 - Dr. Ansell in Houston, TX, severely damaged nerves on both sides and entrapment areas
No relief from surgery, possible PN years before pain began
PN most likely due to extreme exercise
Tried:
SCS - 95% pain relief, removed due to multiple infections
Accupuncture - no relief
Botox - relief only 2 of 3 months of injection
RF Ablation - no relief
Current: Butrans Transdermal patches, compound cream, other usual PN meds
Pain relief typically 60-70% with new meds
