I live in RI and I am looking to chat with anyone who has successfully been treated for PE/coccyx issues or to commiserate with another sufferer!!
I live in Rhode Island have been experiencing coccyx pain upon sitting and severe pain especially when moving from a sitting/bending to standing position. More recently I have developed severe burning near the rectal area. My Pelvic Floor therapist told me that it is most likely the pudendal nerve entrapped in the sacrotuberous ligament. It was so bad last week I called my pain management MD and he injected the area with cortisone. So far a bit of relief--he said it can take up to a week or more to help.
Long story short, I had a left anterior hip replacement 1.5 years ago. Have had IT band issues, pyraformis pain etc. My other hip (right side) now has torn labrum and won't be long before another hip replacement. I am 60 yrs young and beside myself.
Do you live in UK?? How dod you find Dr. Durtnall??? Any advice please!!
