I have suffered with various pain symptoms for just over 5 years which initially started with bladder pain and vulval and perianal burning/itching. I saw Michael when my symptoms first started and after a few months of treatment felt able to cope with my much milder remaining symptoms. After this I was directed to have guided nerve blocks via the NHS and after my last block (ganglion impar) in May 2015 developed intense clitoral/urethra pain and pain in tailbone/with sitting. I believe beginning weightlifting at the gym contributed to the latter.

I started treatment again with Michael in January 2016 and can say that my clitoral/urethral pain has greatly reduced and my sitting pain has gone down perhaps 30%. I'm still a work in progress as I've had the "new" post nerve block pain symptoms for a while but it's refreshing to meet a health practitioner who understands and really wants to help in getting you back to "normal" without drugs! Michael works on loosening up the joints but, as opposed to other chiropractors, also works on loosening up muscles to relieve pressure on the nerves using a combination of internal and external techniques. His knowledge of the pelvic area, it's anatomy and how nerves, muscles and joints work together, is very in depth and informs his work. Aside from that, he really takes the time to listen to you, put you at ease and has an excellent and positive bedside manner.

I can't say that I am "cured" or that my pain is gone but it is certainly improving and I will continue to see Michael in the hope that it continues this way.I recommend anyone with similar symptoms to go and see him and his team.
