Jaxi,

Do you know the cause of the constipation? Is it nerve related or medication related? Have you tried administering enemas to yourself? I know I didn't answer your question, but thought I would comment since maybe there is another way to help.

I've never heard of anyone wit PNE resorting to a colostomy although that option has entered my head before when reading some people's posts. Is your doctor offering you that option?

PNE since 2002. Started from weightlifting. PNE surgery from Dr. Bautrant, Oct 2004. Pain now is usually a 0 and I can sit for hours on certain chairs. No longer take medication for PNE. Can work full time and do "The Firm" exercise program. 99% cured from PGAD. PNE surgery was right for me but it might not be for you. Do your research.

Well, that's a tough decision. Can you try all the alternative options first?
