Has anyone tried hypnotherapy please with any result ?

I am starting to see a clinical hypnotherapist who has previously worked in a pain clinic to see if she can help with my pain. She has explained to me how it works - i want to give it a try.

Would welcome any thoughts you might have Ezer if you have the time ?

Tried it when this all started 2+ years ago. More wasted money.

I tried it. I got very limited benefits. In the grand scheme of things it was a waste of money. Your mind can only be convinced for so long that you are hurting less.
I have to confess that I am a bad subject for hypnotherapy. I don't really get hypnotized easily (a state between conscience and sleep). People that really get hypnotized do better. Maybe try it once but don't pursue if you don't get results.

It's worth my knowing that - first session today so will see how it goes - nor sure if i am going to be a good subject - i can be a terrible cynic. I haven't got money to waste either.
