contact doctors

Do you know if there is a doctor who you can contact to before doing an appointment? In the sense of writing him "I have such and such symptoms and I suspect that this can be related to a nerve...do you treat this?" I am fed up of going to doctors with the hope that they can help me and leaving the consultation realizing that he does not know nothing about my problem. And all this after driving a lot of miles and spending the money that I do not have in the appointment. If I have the security in this sense I am willing to go wherever is necessary.
