Can PNE lead to increasing levels of back pain?

Hello all. It's been some time since I have been on here! Have been trying to cope by not focussing on the issue, but it isn't really working!
I have been diagnosed with levator ani, or pelvic floor, dysfunction for about 5 years. Had symptoms for 30. I am not sure if the diagnosis is correct, but I share many of the symptoms shown on here, mostly bowel and now urinary issues.
I wondered if someone would be kind enough to give me advice on back pain?
I recently developed a big ache on the lower left side, just along from the sacrum. I also have aches in my legs.
I assumed this was down to my exercise regime, but it isn't, and not improving with rest. It has also intensified my urinary problems.
Does anyone think its possible for straining and the issues associated with PNE to cause such pain? Or maybe I am developing arthritis! I am 41 now!!
What appears strange is that I can still exercise. Once I get moving there is no pain. It hurts when I allow it to set, particularly as I stand up or bend at a slight angle.
Any thoughts would be appreciated.
