Does anyone feel like their tailbone is broken and the end curved completely under digging into you?

Hi Jax,
I don't feel like my tailbone is broken. Lots of pain in that area, though. BUT ...
I do know a gal who felt like her tailbone was broken and described what you're feeling. She did indeed have a broken tailbone.
Have you had any imaging of the area lately?

Best regards,
Karyn

Strange and sad. But I believe you. It may be helpful if you specifically bring your tailbone to someone's attention, so that's all they're focusing on?

Best,
Karyn

I have been to over 70 doctors. Nobody has a clue what to do for my tailbone pain.

Does anyone feel like their tailbone is coming out of them?

Hi there
Yes there there can be a assocation with the coccyx and PN it is usally overlooked , As the sacrotuberous ligament has a partial attachment to the coccyx , so if you have a dislocated coccyx etc , you can get PN now you will need to get a dynamic x-ray go to http://www.coccyx.org . There is also agood article by Til Lauchau
http://www.abmp.com/textonlymags/articl ... rticle=396 a good read about the coccyx and PN .

No. This is a never ending process. Due to the loss of ligaments, nothing is where it is supposed to be. Sitting upsets the tailbone horribly. The coccyxgeus muscle stays in a spasm regardless what I try to do.

Hey Jax123

Yeah i do understand the frustration with finding someone who understands the dynamics of coccyx dysfunction , i have the same problem of coccyx dysfunction .which effects the pudendal nerve .

You said
Due to the loss of ligaments, nothing is where it is supposed to be
how did you get that diagnosed ??
I know your frustration of going to PT's and doctors i can't find one either , i can find them on line with a article they have written , how good they are ??? it's a lucky dip and a expensive one , or they are in the wrong country , i would like to try some of these gurus , to see if there treatments work

When you said
nothing is where it is supposed to be
i do uderstand when everyone has had a go the poor pelvis muscles and ligaments are not balanced or they have changed the dynamics with the treament .

I did read that if a treatment does not hold then the practioner has not addressed something , they had left some thing out of the treatment ,their diagnoses was not complete .

Well even if you get a Dynamic x-ray of the coccyx who do go to , As my GP said to me , who is going to do the right treatment ?? I don't know anyone who specialises in this field and you have had a good look

It should not be a never ending process .

It is a never ending process. My PN has been decompressed TWICE only to become re entrapped with scar tissue.
Coccyxgeaus is tight and rock hard. Botox nor internal PT phases it. Noting is where it is supposed to be due to the PN surgeries and loss of ligaments. At the end of my rope.
