cane saving my pelvic floor!

Post by kat »

PT trained me on a cane and it came today. I now walk strait without holding my pelvic floor tight to move my legs. I take longer strides and have more stamina with it as well.

If you are like me and struggle to walk correctly due to pelvic pain and cramping due to holding your pelvic floor tightly than I recommend trying one.

My left leg is the bad one so I hold the cane in my right hand, stand tall with correct posture, relax my left arm and pelvic floor and take larger steps than I have in 2 years. It is really helping my train my body to work correctly so ask if it may help you too.

It is something small, but it really changed my day and I will let you know if I get overall pain relief and stamina after using it for a while.

Make sure PT trains you on how to use a cane correctly so you know it won't mes up your muscles or alignment.
