Backlash Against Opiates Because of Increased Overdoses

Just wanted to get this out there as I feel it's a really important issue:
Because of the increased number of deaths from narcotics in the US, there is a media backlash against legitimately prescribed opiates in general.
Journalists do not seem to understand that there is a real medical need for these medications by patients in severe pain. Opiate abuse can unfortunately lead to death, but so can untreated pain. Many people die each year from untreated pain by committing suicide.
Please contact anyone you feel would be willing to tell "The Other Side of Story" regarding pain killers.
