Post by sadie »

has anyone heard of ganglion impar blocks ..i have e-mailed my doctors in the past but have not gotten a thumbs up or down on this from them ......sometimes you just figure if it worked it would have been shouted from the roof tops .........so why bother asking ............and i do know that anything can make you worse so i am cautiously asking... thanks and i am praying for healing and wisdom 4 all of us beat this as we are our own best advocates.

Sadie, you can use the search box in the upper right to find out what other patients have said about ganglion impar blocks. If you search using the word impar there are 142 posts that come up. You can click to read the entire post. As with everything else, they help some people but not others and there is no way to predict with certainty whether it will help you or not. Seems like it works best for people with anal or coccyx symptoms.

PNE since 2002. Started from weightlifting. PNE surgery from Dr. Bautrant, Oct 2004. Pain now is usually a 0 and I can sit for hours on certain chairs. No longer take medication for PNE. Can work full time and do "The Firm" exercise program. 99% cured from PGAD. PNE surgery was right for me but it might not be for you. Do your research.
