Physio - how often?

Post by Lenny33 »

Hi, looking for bit of help. Have tried physio before with limited success but to be honest gone into it a little half heartedly. Decided to give it final attempt before going for surgery. I had previously been seeing last physio every 2 months because of distance. How frequently is it recommended for best results? Thks

I think I was going twice a week for awhile but I don't know of any specific recommendation on how often you should get PT. Does your PT have any recommendation for you?

PNE since 2002. Started from weightlifting. PNE surgery from Dr. Bautrant, Oct 2004. Pain now is usually a 0 and I can sit for hours on certain chairs. No longer take medication for PNE. Can work full time and do "The Firm" exercise program. 99% cured from PGAD. PNE surgery was right for me but it might not be for you. Do your research.

I haven't been on in awhile, but I am starting a ribbon campaign. I am collecting information from individuals with PN and/or PNE, and will send the results to the HOPE board, as well as the leaders of the Pudendal Neuralgia Association.
