I am 7 days post bilateral transgluteal surgery. My question is has anyone worked with a pain doc in the Chicago area that knows about PNE. My current PM doc is not supportive and said he wants to start reducing pain meds soon after surgery. Dr. Ansell said that in not the right decision as the pain will return and be as bad or worse for some months. Just need a doc that will understand. I will be posting updates soon about my surgery.
I was entrapped at the isheal spine in one of the ligaments on both sides and a small area on the left at the alcocks canal. I had an MRN from Dr Filler and MRI in Houston by Dr Ansell. Both MRI and MRN showed just what he found. Also had PNMLT with high results.
