So its pretty amazing what its done for my burning saddle area but these side affects are brutal....4 days now and still MAJOR hot flashes, headache, some nausea
big eyes, jaw clenches....but my aches and pains are gone, sleeping is fairly good, pe pain is way better though not gone.
Im still taking about 10 mg vicodin...i think if the side affects go away i can ween off the opiates, anyways thats my hope and plan.
Im only taking one 30 mg cymbalta
Please tell m the cymbalta side affects will go away soon? anyone...
Cory

Hi Cory
I quit Cymbalta after a couple of weeks because of the side effects. I was taking 30mg. It worked the best out of everything I have tried, but it did not take most of the pain away. I could sit for e.g. 40 min. instead of 20 min.

Cory, can you try a smaller dose and titrate up? It looks like it comes in 20 mg.

So know ive been taking 30 mg for a week and i was feeling pretty good, probably 50 or 40 % reduction in pain! Wow!!! The dr wants me to increase to 60 mg once a day.....this morning i did it....oh my god.....ugh just like the first day at 30mg. Cant i just sit here with my eyes closed? thats all i wanted!!!

Hey, Cory. Hang in there and as you adjust to the medication maybe the side effects will subside but you will still get the benefit of pain relief. Like they say.....sometimes the treatment is worse than the disease  but hopefully that will be temporary.
