As the author notes this topic is based on a disturbing medical review about vulva pain. It just shows how behind the times the medical community is on this subject. The comments are interesting too although I do get a bit sick of the continual references to the (all encompasing ???) biophsychosocial elements to a diagnosis of pelvic pain and the focus on end organ pain and tissue dysfunction. SOMETIMES there is actual tissue dysfunction which all the physiotherapy in the world will not have much or any effect on.
Anyway it's interesting reading and they are ultimately on our side at least
