Sunil,

Your story has broken my heart and has made me cry. What has happened to you wife? Are you still in touch? You must love each other so much and such a thing shouldn't have happened to you. Would Dr. Vancaille do surgery on you for free? I know Dr. Hibner in the U.S. would.

Please know that you have a friend that is more than willing to listen anytime. Just send me a PM and I'll write back right away.

Out of the blue: but nothing is coincidence...I am glad so much is happening for you; I know it is overwhelming to process but it sounds so much for the good.
pelvic pain started 1985 age 14 interstitial cystitis. Refused medical care from age 17, did GREAT with self care for years.
2004 PN started gradually, disabled by 2009. Underlying cause SIJD & Tarlov cysts
improved with PT & meds: neurontin, valium, nortriptyline, propanolol. (off nortriptyline & propanolol now, yay!)
Tarlov cyst surgery with Dr. Frank Feigenbaum March 20, 2012.
Results have been excellent so far; but I won't know my final functional level for a couple of years.

Dear Sunil, I am so touched by your story of hardship, and I can feel the sadness that you experience and also how strong you are. Life has thrown some unfair challenges your way, and what you say about the racism so upsets me. I do think there is some healing to come out of this unusual meeting again; healing for both of you, emotionally and physically. Just from the way you wrote this so beautifully, I sense that this story between you two is not over, that if you can talk about some of the things that were done to you both, by uncaring and reckless people, maybe some healing will come for you both, so you can move on with your lives, less wounded and stronger for what is to be for both of you in the future.
As for your health, it sounds like Peter Dornan is such a good man and can he continue to advocate for you, get you the help that you are searching for? Try to find people you truly trust and ask them to advocate for you. Again, deep sorrow for this hard time you have had, but I do think it is a second chance at healing in so many ways. Thanks for sharing, and sending you warmth and support. I looked at your area where you live- it looks stunningly beautiful. I hope that nature helps you too.

Onset PN/PFD/centralized pain in Oct 06 after years of athletics, nursing career and dog training. PT for two years with improvement, now go for tune-ups and pain management. Stopped Cymbalta, was on M.S. Contin, then Kadian, and briefly Methadone for pain management, now off those meds and pain is well managed with Buprenorphine. Followed my pain management specialist.

Sunil, the ex spouse's must be in the air. I haven't heard from mine in a couple of years and this evening I received an email through Facebook from his newly 3rd wife who tracked me down. Has ruined my whole evening  !
