any decent pain docs in Milwaukee area??

I know I've asked this before, but its been a while. I'm still looking for a new doc in the Milwaukee, Wi area.
I have ruled out the 3 that are in my current health care facility. One of them down right rejected me, just because its pelvic pain.
I just want someone to manage my meds and maybe think outside the box.
Any suggestions on good websites to research for pain docs?
Thanks.
Debbie

Debbie, if you google for pelvic floor PT's in Milwaukee there are several that come up. They might know a good doc who manages pelvic pain.
Best,
Violet

Sorry I should have said I tried BOTH of my therapists, they are not happy with the docs they have had experience with.
That's why im still searching. I need someone that can work on my centralized pain in my legs, if that's what it is for sure?
Another one of my questions that hasn't been answered.
Thanks Violet.....

Is the leg pain in a particular place(s) Debbie that has been identified as say 'the path of the sciatic?' or other nerve? as you describe a burning which is usually associated with nerve pain?
Sorry you are still searching for a forward thinking clinician.

Hi Helen,
No it's not sciatic, its more a feeling of being very sunburn, and sort of prickly, or prickly burny. It's mainly the front of my thighs, around my whole knee, and can go into the lower leg when it really flares. I believe it's some type of centralized pain, or myofascial? I get different answers all the time. I also have occasional sensations in the top of my left foot burny-numby, only the top near my toes. Never on the back of the foot, or soles.
The legs feel best when I wake up, and some days it's like a 1, and then it can flare with too much stretching or deep tissue massage.... Or for no apparent reason....it will flare to a 4-5 in minutes. Then it's take a Vicodin time
Thanks for asking... I'm going to see Jerry Hesch tomorrow. Lets see what this PT has to say about my pelvic torsion.
I'm sure ill be adding some stretches to my collection.

It does sound like a regional pain syndrome/central sensitisation kind of problem to me Debbie, but then I am only medically educated thru the HOPE FORUM, internet and pain
From what I know about Jerry Herch, he is a great person to see. He really knows his stuff and truly wants to help people.
Let us know how it goes .

Sorry you can't find some good pain mangement there, Debbie. Maybe it would be worth it to check out Madison -- possibly the docs at U of Wis since they have a medical school and may be more on the cutting edge?
I'm interested to hear how your meeting with Jerry Hesch went.

Thanks Violet...I had 2 sessions with Jerry, and I will be posting under a new thread under PT.
I would love a recommendation before just trotting off to a new clinic blindly. I'm getting a new GP in April, so I will bug her too.
