Potters contact information

I was wondering if anyone has contacted Dr Potter to send her protocol for the 3t MRI to their local imaging center. I have recently had a 3t MRI, non Potter style, of my lower back and pelvis which has turned up nothing out of the norm that could be causing my condition. They did see a small lesion on my sacrum which will need a follow up MRI in 2-3 months for precautionary reasons. I want to take that opportunity to get a Potter MRI using her protocol, I already spoke to my doctor about this and she is on board. I was wondering do I contact Dr Potter or should I locate the radiologist who will be doing my scan to contact her, also what is her contact info so I can pass it along.
Anyone that can help it would be greatly appreciated, it's been a year with this mystery condition that I hope to shed some light on with the MRI. Been going to Stephany Pendergrast's practice with a new PT who is helping with mayo facial and trigger point therapy, so far it's helped somewhat and I'm learning at home techniques that help manage the pains. She doesn't think I have PNE but possible neuropathy from compression. Everything in my pelvis is tight and restricting normal nerve movement. Hopefully she is right and the Potter MRI will concur.

Thanks for your help,

Matt

Hi Matt,

From what I've heard, your radiologist needs to contact Potter to get the protocol.

Please private message me if you have any information.

Thank so much,

Just wanted to give you a heads up. I had a 3T MRI in RI this past summer, which was supposed to be the equivalent of a Potter MRI. Not so much ...
It didn't pick up ANY abnormalities, not even post-operative changes after my TG surgery OR the neurectomies I had last year. To add insult to injury, my report states:
"Sacrospinus ligaments appear intact".
My ordering phsycian personally contacted Dr. Potter to request she re-read my images. Her report repeatedly states: "There are marked differences in spatial and through plane resolution in the scans, making comparison limited".

KInd regards,
Karyn

Wow Karyn, that's scary. At least you had the prior MRI to refer to, and to question the results.
Either the protocol wasn't followed correctly, or whom ever read the scans were way off.

I guess it sounds like going to NY is still the only way to get an accurate interpretation.
