Hi Sunil!
Thanks very much for sharing this article. Do you happen to know if people with SIJD and PN also have neurological symptoms in the lower extremities?
I studied the manual adjustments portion of the paper and noticed I've had the very same techniques applied to me by various PT's and chiropractors throughout the years.
My adjustments never held and WISH I could do those home exercises! ;) I"m always happy to hear when these therapies work for someone! Thank you for sharing.
Kindest of regards,
Karyn
Ultra Sound in 03/08 showed severely retroverted, detaching uterus with mulitple fibroids and ovarian cysts.
Pressure and pain in lower abdomen and groin area was unspeakable and devastating.
Total lap hysterectomy in 06/08, but damage was already done.
EMG testing in NH in 04/10 - bilateral PN and Ilioinguals
3T MRI at HSS, NY in 09/10
Bilateral TG surgery with Dr. Conway on 03/29/11. Bilat ilioinguinal & iliohypogastric neurectomy 03/12. TCD surgery 04/14.

Thank you very much, Sunil, for taking the time to ask Peter. I wonder how much hope there is for us who's SIJ is damaged and unable to hold adjustments?
sunil wrote:Things have got better for me but it was quite painful at times and I could not walk properly, especially when the PT in Canberra did his best to totally mistreat me and cause so much pain.
I'm so very glad you've found someone much more knowledgeable for your treatments! I'm also very happy that you're being treated with the dignity and respect you deserve.
Best,
Karyn

OK Sunil, I got this posted on the publications page now. Thanks,

Violet
PNE since 2002. Started from weightlifting. PNE surgery from Dr. Bautrant, Oct 2004. Pain now is usually a 0 and I can sit for hours on certain chairs. No longer take medication for PNE. Can work full time and do "The Firm" exercise program. 99% cured from PGAD. PNE surgery was right for me but it might not be for you. Do your research.
