Alcocks Canal Nerve Block from Dr Antolak

I had injection in Alococks Canal at St John radiology couple of days before. Dr Antolak generally doesn’t do the block at Alcocks canal and we have to go to this radiology centre. I did not feel any numbness in the rectal area and I felt very slight numbness in top of the penis. But a month before I had the procedure from Dr Antolak at Ischial spine and it completely numbed both my rectal area and the penis as well. My primary symptoms is burning feeling at the sides of my Right ischial tuberosity region towards the inner thigh, so mainly sitting problem for the past 6 years. Recently in the past couple of months I noticed some burning in rectal region but it goes off in a day or so by itself.
Antolak opinion is my rectal nerve is branching off before entering Alcocks Canal which is the case for 50 % of the people and that’s the reason I did not feel any numbness in rectal area at all. Did any of the forum members had similar experience of block at Alcocks canal.
Thanks,
Murali
