How bad is the MRI w/Contrast for Labral Hip Tear?

Post by JackieOUCH »

Like most of you, I've had more medical tests than I'd care to mention.

But....

How bad is the MRI with contrast that shows labral hip tears?

Do they inject the contrast right into the hip joint?

Is it horribly painful?

Any serious pain spikes from the test?

Any problems with the contrast itself?

I'm trying to get my nervous system to calm down, and everything seems to aggravate it lately....but I do think the tear could be part of my problem.

Thank you.

Jackie OUCH NO MORE TESTS!!

How was your MRI? Did they inject right into your hip?
