AREAS OF ENTRAPMENT-for WOMEN

Hello all,
I wanted to know if any of you out there have had an entrapment in the clitoral branch area.
It seems that after 3 months of PT and botox has not worked for me so now I have to accept the fact that I do have an entrapment somewhere in the urogenital triangle area or clitoral brancharea.

What nerve could this be? is this a branch of the pudendal nerve...? do women have a dorsal nerve or is this just male?

I am trying to find a woman out there who has what I have specifically and how they dealt with it..?

Its clitoral brach area but not exactly on the clitoris bus close to it. I don't have clitoral pain but its close enough that it feels like the base of the clitoris has alot of pressure and slight pain but more at the vaginal entrance stinging.

Has anyone out there got this type of entrapment and is it pudendal related then as in a branch of the pudendal nerve. I cannot sit without stinging and sharp shock pain deep but Hibners office seems to think clitoral branch...................

I would gladly go on pain meds the rest of my life if I thought there was something that would allow me to sit or walk without pain rather than nerve blocks or surgery.........I could live with that cos its the pain as we all know is the killer here........
So is there anyone who has the problem I have in this female area and if so I would love to know what you got done and any recommendations etc...?
Hope to hear from someone/anyone......
thankyou lexie

Hi Lexie,
I don't have exactly what you describe but women do have a dorsal nerve. Take a look at Dr Dellon's page, there is a 3D video presentation of the pelvis with the pudendal nerve branches at the bottom of the page.
Take care,
Helen

This too. It's a diagram presentation of the pudendal nerve (and artery) but shows the branches diagrammatically on a male but the female is always referred to as well. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xym2gly5 ... ure=g-hist
