Dave,
So far we havent managed to find a celebrity with PN/PNE. The condition would be taken far more seriously in many places if it were highlighted by a celeb. Not that I would wish PN on anyone, but the media coverage would definitely bring a greater awareness aobut our condition and the treatments offered.

What about any related chronic pain diseases? The bigger the group, the more noise we can make!

JFK allegedly had pelvic pain (his "low back pain") and was treated by Dr.Travell, the physician that studied myofascial pain and trigger points.
Glenn Gould the famous pianist suffered all his adult life from pelvic pain.
John Cleese of Monthy Python fame suffers from Prostatitis (which is often a catch all term for pelvic pain).
Former trainer for The Biggest Loser, Jillian Michaels suffers from endometriosis.

There are also celebrities with other chronic pain diseases like RSD and fibromyalgia. ( Pain drugs are often developed with the notion that they can affect wide range of chronic pain diseases.)
Here is an example:

Hi all,
We need a new non-addictive therapy for chronic pain! Tell your Congressman! Tell your Senator! Write to President Obama!
According to the Intitute of Medicine, over 100 million Americans suffer from chronic pain, and chronic pain costs the US up to $635 million (4% of the GDP)!
See links for more info about chronic pain in America:

Even Steven Tyler suffers from chronic pain and was in rehab for pain killer addiction. He's as famous as anyone.

I joined a facebook group here in NZ, 'chronic pain awareness' the lady who runs it has fibromyalgia, and started a yearly art competition and 'pain awareness month' about 4 years ago to raise awareness of chronic pain conditions.
www.painmonth.co.nz
She was recently on national TV explaining about it in conjunction with a release of a report (first of its kind in New Zealand) on chronic pain and the effects on the economy and peoples lives.
Anyway I quit the group, because my input and effort ultimately led no benefit to me.
