Does anyone know where to buy the Wise Anderson trigger point wand from. Can you buy it from the Internet or do you have to go to the course?
I have a very sore obturator internus. Ever since this muscle became sore my symptoms have really got bad. I have buttock and leg pain/numbness, scrotal tingling, loss of sexual sensation, difficult to ejaculate.
I understand the pudendal, post femoral cutaneous and sciatic nerves run through the obturator internus.
I've had an MRI which came back clear so this is most likely muscle tension.
I've been having physio but I need it everyday hence why I'm asking about the wand.

I contacted Dr. Anderson last fall to see if the wand was available and he said only through his course. Currently, they are in the process of getting FDA approval. I'm not sure how long that will take but it is usually a pretty slow process. I have no need to go through his course so I'll just wait.

Hi reckless.
It sounds like we both have the same symptom. I to have a clean MRI. My pain started 4 mouth ago.
Here's what i find wierd having been doing trigger point with a specialist. Both myself and the trigger point Pt can feel the muscle nott. That is where the pain is being genertaed from. I had tigger point last week alot of burning and pain for 4 day after. Monday the pain seemed to calm to level 2. I purchased a body roller that i have used in regular PT . I used it last night at home and did not realize i only roled my gluts NOT my butt cheeks when I was at the PT. Well know i used the roller over my butt cheeks where my trigger points are both sides And I'm in full blown out pain , level 10,
if your understanding of your situation is muscle tension and not an intrapment do you have a specific point in your muscle that generate pain that is pressing on the nerve?
If so does this cause genital pain upon pressing on the trigger point or aggravating it?
Please let me know. Also if you a have moment please read my thread. Is under Can Piriformis syndrome cause pudenpal pain. In the welcom center. Please tell me if my symptoms are the same as yours.Sorry I don't kow how to add the link.
Thanks
Red.

Hi Red,
My painful muscle is either the puborectalis or obturator internus. It's high up inside me. Touching it is very sore but it doesn't replicate the nerve symptoms. The pain and resulting spasm is probably entrapping the nerve. I can feel this sore muscle all of the time. I need to get rid of this muscle pain before considering nerve blocks etc. Thankfully it is slowly responding to trigger point massage slowly.
I also have leg pain.
