Recommendation for Pelvic Pain Gyn in Southern California

Post by merrie »

Does anyone know of a good PNE and pelvic pain aware gynecologist in the Los Angeles area? My current ob/gyn is just clueless. I am under the care of Dr Jordan for my PNE, but I need to find a good gynecologist to help me with my other pelvic pain problems. I have seen Dr Rapkin at UCLA and she was not of any help. Looking for other recommendations.

Thanks to all-
Merrie

Merrie, call Angela Spruill, a physical therapist and see if she can recommend someone. She's listed on this page: http://pudendalhope.org/node/63#CA ...... or Julie Sarton.
PNE since 2002. Started from weightlifting. PNE surgery from Dr. Bautrant, Oct 2004. Pain now is usually a 0 and I can sit for hours on certain chairs. No longer take medication for PNE. Can work full time and do "The Firm" exercise program. 99% cured from PGAD. PNE surgery was right for me but it might not be for you. Do your research.
