Make your own cushion

Post by Poppy »

I've been searching all day in desperation to find a U shaped cushion but all I could find were coccyx wedges and wedges kill my SI joint. I decided it would be better to get a foam pad and make one myself. The only problem buying online is not knowing how firm the foam is. Then I came across this website and as soon as I can get hold of them I'm going to order some. They will laminate soft foam on top of firm foam. You can send in a pattern and they will cut it for you. http://www.acefoam.co.uk/index.html It looks really good. I found it via a canal boat forum; people who wanted to replace their beds. This is cheap enough to buy two or three different density and different sizes to work out which is best for you. YOu'd have to make a cover of course but that wouldn't take long.
