What does everyone sleep on at night? And do you actually get sleep?

I have been on the couch for years, with two body pillows, which I lay in between and a pillow for my feet and 4 pillows for my head, kinda sleeping like V shaped on my couch. I was just wondering if there is a bed of choice, I would love to be back in bed with my husband rather than on the couch. THanks for all your support!!

Im not sure that there is a definitive bed of choice but I am fussy about what matress I use.
i have a Memory Foam matress which has an extra topper on top, I have ot use pure cotton bedding as any polyester fabrics make me too hot and also it irritates my skin on the legs.
I use memory foam pillows so all in all i suppose Im floating in my bed!
I do take ice every night and wouldnt manage any rest let alone sleep without it.

I have a memory foam mattress on a bed frame with sprung wooden slats. I got it 10 years ago when my T12 joint trapped a nerve and it's been a godsend. It's hard to get out of bed on a morning but I sleep well despite having Fibro. It's not the usual memory foam. It has a 6 inch fairly firm foam base with a 4 inch memory foam top so you can't turn it over but you can turn it round. It also has a removable zipped cover for washing but I've never struggled to get it off.
