Hi Everyone,
I'm hoping some of you can help me with this..I have been diagnosed with neurogenic bladder but along with bladder dysfunction I also have complete numbness in the genital region. I am able to have an orgasm but the sensation is VERY diminished and the "thrust" of ejaculate is basically non-existent. Everything I read about PN or PNE says chronic pain, is there anyway to have PN or PNE where it is total numbness, no pain? If it matters the symptoms started in a split second after intercourse, I could feel my penis, I ejaculated and then couldn't feel it, like I had no control over it.
Thank you for any help
PNE Without Pain?
Re: PNE Without Pain?
Yes, unfortunately numbness is one possible manifestation of neuropathy -- pain is not the only symptom. Sorry you have had to join us with this distressing symptom.

PNE since 2002. Started from weightlifting. PNE surgery from Dr. Bautrant, Oct 2004. Pain now is usually a 0 and I can sit for hours on certain chairs. No longer take medication for PNE. Can work full time and do "The Firm" exercise program. 99% cured from PGAD. PNE surgery was right for me but it might not be for you. Do your research.
Re: PNE Without Pain?
I have numbness in the rectal area but not the genital area. I have erectile dysfunction and weak ejaculation; semen just oozes out. In the past I had painful ejaculation and occasional penile pain but that is gone now. My symptoms have improved because I have not sat down for five years.
