I had PGAD or better Restless Genitale Syndrome

Iám a 24-years old women from Austria.I suffered from this Syndrome for about 5 Years now.I diagnosed myself 5 month´s ago.I have constant genital arousal, restless legs and overactive bladder.

I've spent so many years to find a cause for my complaints, it's incredible.It is so hard to be taken seriously and to find a good doctor.My doctor told me it would be in my country only a few cases. I think however there are so many more people who know not only what they have.No idea why, but there are always more affected people,also MEN.


I have always had problems a few months, then it was better for some time. As it is with you, you also have periods where it's better ist.Auch my restless legs and overactive bladder get better once the excitement wears off. It must all hang together.

I've tried various things

Lidocaine gel
Clonazepam 0.5 mg
Tramal Long 100mg
Dopamine-Drugus for Restless Legs
SSRIs

Most of the aid introduced antidepressants. But I will not take forever!!


I have contact with a physician of good successes with a pudendal - block had, someone has experience?

The EMLA cream should be good ... I'll get it.


I would be very grateful to write with other stakeholders. It is very hard to get contact, because I do not log on to the self-help groups may, as an Austrian.
