Chair with cut out seat

I wonder if this could be of use to anyone. A cushion might be needed but still, maybe this would help those who must sit for some length of time.

I think for people with short legs (like me) we would need to sit forward to take full advantage of the cutout, leaving backs unsupported. Pity they don't bring an armchair version out (to retain a few cushions) or a bigger cutout. Or a more centralised cutout. Ah but then I suppose it would be called a commode! I've seen wing back chairs that are really commodes, but what we need is some forward thinking designer to make a stylish chair with a centralised cutout that can be covered to look like a normal chair, rather than a nursing home chair. I'd order one with cabriole legs and carvings!
