Moderator Responsibilities of HOPE

Responsibilities for Moderators
1. Maintain civil debate and harmony amongst the forum and its members.
2. Guide heated discussions back to acceptable levels, as defined by the Code of Conduct Rules.
3. Carry out necessary disciplinary action to forum members who do not adhere to the Code of Conduct Rules.
4. Have their own posts viewed by other Moderators to avoid any misinterpretations in language that may offend or confuse.
5. Respect their roles by sticking rigidly to the Code of Conduct Rules.
6. Refrain from abusing control of the site to unilaterally ban, edit, delete or censor members with prejudice.
7. Promote and offer advice to members as to our mission statement.
8. Note: Moderators will be subject to the same Code of Conduct as any Member, and will also be monitored by other Moderators & Administrators.
