Sunil,
I hope you are doing well. I have experienced some of the same symptoms that you have. Primary symptoms include glans penis sensitivity, penile numbness, urinary frequency, and occasional ED. Thanks for all of the info on ED and potential treatments. Have you found anything that works for you, such as Viagra?

Thanks,
Nick

I'm sorry you've had a setback Sunil. Maybe some gentle massage and alternating ice/heat would help the muscles relax back to your previous pain levels.

PNE since 2002. Started from weightlifting. PNE surgery from Dr. Bautrant, Oct 2004. Pain now is usually a 0 and I can sit for hours on certain chairs. No longer take medication for PNE. Can work full time and do "The Firm" exercise program. 99% cured from PGAD. PNE surgery was right for me but it might not be for you. Do your research.

Sunil, I'm glad you're feeling better.

Do you know if Maurine trained under Peter Dornan and was the patient who was cured a pudendal neuralgia patient or someone with SIJD? Do you think we need to add her name to our list of PT's?

Thanks,

Violet

Yes, Sunil -- we would need their permission in order to post their names. They can contact me at violet@pudendalhope.org or through the contact link from the homepage. Or if you can get me their e-mails I would be happy to contact them.

Thanks,

Violet

Hello Nick,

I'm not a doctor, but I can share some general information. If you're experiencing symptoms like glans penis sensitivity, penile numbness, urinary frequency, and occasional ED, it's crucial to consult a healthcare professional for personalized advice.

In terms of treatments, shockwave therapy has gained attention for its potential benefits in addressing erectile dysfunction. There's ongoing research on its effectiveness, and some men have reported positive outcomes. However, individual responses can vary.

You might find it helpful to discuss the option of shockwave therapy with your healthcare provider. They can provide insights into whether it's suitable for your specific situation, taking into account your overall health and the underlying causes of your symptoms.

For more detailed information on shockwave therapy for erectile dysfunction, you can refer to articles like the one on Prestige Pickings: https://prestigepickings.com/blogs/news ... ysfunction

Sorry to hear it didn't work for you, Happy. And thanks for telling your experience. Unfortunately, it's probably one of those things that you won't know if it works until you try it. Which can be pretty annoying.

i think the problem with shockwave is that it the science behind it wouldnt even help with neurological ed. It is meant to help blood vessels. i cant speak for the original poster, but my ed is a non-vascular issue as i was able to prove with a doppler ultrasound. Since this is a pudendal forum, i figured the original poster in this case has a neurological form of ed as well..
