Steroids = bleeding and bruising??

I started bleeding 2 weeks after my first round of nerve blocks and now bruise easily and often. I also get nose bleeds often.
I know 2 other women who said nerve blocks cause menstral bleeding in them as well.
I've heard steroids thin the blood and it is rare, but it can cause bleeding and bruising.

Do any of you know about this or have you experienced it? Please let me know because I feel there are people with this same sife effect that are not relating the two and the docs should know if this is happening to some of us.
