A lot of you have already had this done, but in my opinion anybody who has Pudendal Neuralgia or Pudendal Nerve Entrapment that has lasted longer than 6 months should get a Pelvic MRI done by one of the top radiologists in the country (top 10) by a woman named Dr. Hollis Potter. She does these for PNE patients all the time and is the most popular. A lot of her findings from her MRIs have been confirmed during surgery and she also works with Dr. Hibner. I got a pelvic mri done here locally and they found nothing wrong, but when I got one done by Dr. Potter, she found a couple things wrong that really helped me with my diagnosis. She also has her own special software to enhance the images and show the nerves or entrapment better than anybody else can. Everyone who knows a lot of patients and also about PNE gets one done by her. A picture, especially the best picture, is worth a million words, and also a million dollars in my opinion when it comes to try to visualize tiny nerves, and other problems with your pelvis. Don't waste your time getting it done anywhere else, unless you don't mind getting two of them done like me, getting one done here, and then one with her. Having said that if she is highly backlogged and booked for a long time, which I heard she may be, you should schedule one with her, because you can always cancel and reschedule her if you need to, and in the mean time get one done locally. I would just highly recommend getting one done by her if you can prior to any surgery. Here is her contact info and make sure you request a pelvic MRI with special attention to the pudendal nerve and its branches,
Her website is http://www.hss.edu/physicians_potter-hollis.asp and her phone number to schedule appointment and address info is below Office Locations

It was the best test besides my pudendal nerve block I ever had done out of the millions of other tests done because it showed something. A lot of her findings have been confirmed during surgery for PNE
I flew there in the morning to LaGuardia Airport took a taxi from there to the appt. and took a taxi back to the airport, there are millions of taxis in NYC. I flew back after appt that same night and insurance covered it.
