When I sit and slouch I have pain in the sitz bone area, maybe a bit further up -isch tuberosities??? But when I sit upright and not slouch the pain diminishes, does this sound like the type of PN pain you all get when sitting???? Or I merely just not sitting correct

To be honest, no, it doesn't sound like the type of pain that I get. If I sit without my cushion, I have very sharp pain across the whole of the pudendal distribution. I do not have sit-bone pain at all. There are quite a few people who have PN who also have pain in the 'sit-bone' area, though.

And now that I think about it, slouching whilst sitting (I am cringing just thinking about it!) would make things much worse, due the the compression of the nerve. Sitting upright is what I do automatically nowadays, with my cushion.

Do you have pain in the pudendal area? or is it just the sit bones?

Its very common to slouch to avoid sitting pain, however we all know that postural effects of not sitting correctly can have a big effect on back pain etc.
Normally to sit upright is a huge precursor of PN pain. Are you using a cushion while sitting? Ice on the cushion can help ease the perineal pain...however most people who have PN pain avoid sitting as much as possible.
