Thank you to all!!!

Post by tig5 »

To All:

It took me almost a year to join this forum after believing I had and was somewhat diagnosed with PN. Well, now I definitely know I have pudendal nerve entrapment as well as a huge cyst lying my obturator nerve. I am scheduled for surgery with Dr. Conway on July 12th. I just wanted to write to let everyone know that I am so glad I joined this forum. I have received so many caring and helpful emails from the people I contacted. Each and everyone of them took the time to help answer my questions and share their empathy about my condition. I want others to know how thankful I am for your guidance during these difficult times and if there is anything I can do in return, I will!!!!

Sincerely,
Annmarie

Annmarie, I'm wishing you a successful surgery. Please take it easy afterwards and remember it takes a lot of time to heal. ;)

Take care,

Violet
PNE since 2002. Started from weightlifting. PNE surgery from Dr. Bautrant, Oct 2004. Pain now is usually a 0 and I can sit for hours on certain chairs. No longer take medication for PNE. Can work full time and do "The Firm" exercise program. 99% cured from PGAD. PNE surgery was right for me but it might not be for you. Do your research.

AnneMarie, How were you diagnosed?
Athlete until pain started in 2001. Diagnosed with PN in Nov. 2010. Probable cause: 3 difficult labors, 5 pelvic surgeries for endometriosis, and undiagnosed hip injuries. 60% better after 3 rounds of shockwave therapy in Cornwall, Ontario (Dec - Feb/12). 99% better after bilateral hip scopes for FAI and labral tears (April and July/12). Pelvic pain life coach Lorraine Faendrich helped me overcome the mind/body connection to chronic pain: http://www.radiantlifedesign.com
