Celebrate International Gynaecological Awareness Day every Sept. 10th. Do something in your community to help us celebrate. Even if it's just an afternoon tea with friends and work colleagues. In Perth Australia we are hosting "The Great Gynae. Debate" with a beautiful High Tea at the Hilton. Sat. 10th Sept. 2011. See www.gain.org.au for updates.
Last year's event was attended by 300 people so hopefully this year will see even more women (and some men) enjoying the "Great Gynae. Debate" with leading Perth Gynaecologists and Sexual Health Specialists. (The debating subject has not been chosen as yet but I think it'll probably be the subject of Gynaecological cancers. I will discuss with the GAIN Chairperson Tina if she'll consider next years event to be about Pudendal Neuralgia. Now that would be a great debate among the medical profefssion.
International Gynaecological Awareness Day was established in Perth Australia by GAIN Inc. a not for profit volunteer organisation driving awareness of Gynaecological health and education in the community.
Please help us celebrate. Send your stories & photos to: enquiries@gain.org.au

Catherine, it would be awesome if you can get next year's topic to be on PN!
PNE since 2002. Started from weightlifting. PNE surgery from Dr. Bautrant, Oct 2004. Pain now is usually a 0 and I can sit for hours on certain chairs. No longer take medication for PNE. Can work full time and do "The Firm" exercise program. 99% cured from PGAD. PNE surgery was right for me but it might not be for you. Do your research.
