Botox in the lower back and butt

I’ve had Botox before, back in 2014, done vaginally. First couple of rounds may have helped but I was also doing intensive PFPT and taking daily valium suppositories, so who actually knows! Third round was injected too close to the bladder and gave me horrible urinary retention that landed me in hospital.

My symptoms have since changed a lot and my main complaints now are lower back, coccyx and very, very severe pudendal nerve pain. My physio now wants me to try Botox again in the back muscles, plus some in the butt (not sure which muscles, maybe in the piriformis) and possibly some in the adductor as well.

Opinions? Has anyone had success with Botox in the lower back and butt?
Anything to consider before the procedure? 🙏

Haven't tried Botox myself and I haven't heard reports of it being used for back muscles. There have been mixed reviews of Botox on this forum when it comes to pelvic pain. Some people find it temporarily helpful but some people have had bad experiences with it. I chose not to use it because my urogyn advised against it due to it being a temporary fix.
