Dr Aszmann success stories?

Post by Abettertomorrow »

Hello, I’m new here. I wanted to ask this online community if they have had or know of any successful surgeries performed by Dr. Aszmann in Austria. Violet you seem to know a lot about pudendal nerve decompression surgeons, do you know anyone who has experienced a positive outcome with him. Any information on his success rate and safety would be helpful to me. Thank you.

Hi, welcome to the forum. I'm sorry, I don't know what the success rate is for PNE surgeries by Dr. Aszmann. If you put the words "Aszmann success" in the search bar in the upper right you will find some post about him. There have been several people who posted they were doing well after surgery with him but really, not very many people who went to him have posted on this forum so it's hard to say. Overall, from what I have read about him over the years is that he has an excellent reputation as a neurosurgeon and is responsive to emails. Hopefully someone who knows more than I do will respond to your post.

PNE since 2002. Started from weightlifting. PNE surgery from Dr. Bautrant, Oct 2004. Pain now is usually a 0 and I can sit for hours on certain chairs. No longer take medication for PNE. Can work full time and do "The Firm" exercise program. 99% cured from PGAD. PNE surgery was right for me but it might not be for you. Do your research.
