MRI Hospital for special Surgery

Hey all,
Don't know where to go from here. Had an MRI at the Hospital in New York City on my pelvis. No compression found on my pudendal nerve. Only a slight tear on the ligiment on my left sit bone. A loss. Been 10 years now with hypersentivity to touch the tip of my penis. Normal touch no problem. Very light touch and it feels like razor blades. Ten years and still no relief. Nerve block? What next. Any help would be appreciated.

MRI's don't always detect an impingement on the nerve. Is there any chance the ligament tear could somehow be causing an irritation of the nerve?

If it's pretty debilitating then it would be more worth pursuing treatment than if it's just a minor irritation. So only you can answer whether you want to pursue any more treatments but if it's a huge problem in your life, then it seems worth it to pursue further treatment, always keeping in mind the slight risk involved with any invasive procedure. My understanding is that with nerve blocks the risk is pretty low. It's always a cost-benefit analysis, unfortunately.

Thank you for the response. I was managing ok for years but there has been an uptick in pain. Scared to do anything. Life goes on.
