Has anyone had there obturator internus retracted in surgery

I had surgery on Oct 10th 2019. Dr. Conway retracted my obturator internus during surgery. Ever since then it feels like I'm sitting on tennis balls on each sitbone. I think he tried a new technique on me without telling me and it back fired. I have a 20 month old baby. He said he's retracted this muscle on patients before but I cant found anyone who he has done this on. Iv asked dr. Hibner and dr. Hibner said he's never retracted that muscle in his career.
