Well, it has all of the listed symptoms of Levator Ani syndrome. I am generall pretty good throughout the morning, tighter in the afternoon, and by days end i am burning at the tip of the penis and in the rectum. I took a valium the other night and was perfectly OK for much of the next day...not sure if that was becasue of good rest or the muscle relaxant. Tonight it was bugging me, so i went for a brisk 15 minute walk which helped slightly. For those of you Christians on the board here is what god said to me today after church:
"My power is displayed more mightily in you by your dependence on Me in coping with this than it would be in My healing you from it." That blew me away. I would rather have this issue and live in close communion with the Father than to be healed and prone to forget Him. I don't know if that word from Him meant I will have this forever or if He is teaching me a lesson, but I am truly thankful for this pain as an opportunity to be reminded of the weakness of this body and the power of His love for me. This is why I've never been truly depressed by the injury/pain...frustrated for sure, but never defeated.
